Strategy, Discovery & Research

Concepting

• Explore brand identity concepts

• Presentation of brand identity direction

• Outline content for new website

• Establish initial concepts for website design

Content Gathering

• Collection of any existing assets for review

• Content gathering - the required content will be obtained from the client to be processed for inserting into the website

• Image gathering - Imagery and assets will either be created from scratch, sourced from stock libraries, or from client’s own collection

Graphical Design

• Firm up logomark design for final review and tweaks

• Begin generating ideas for the graphical design of the site

• Concept refinement - working closely with you, we will develop our designs and ideas

• High fidelity graphical website mockups produced

Build/Development

• Build site structure (pages, styling)

• Populate site with content (copy, imagery)

• Feedback and refining, first working website review

Testing

• Usability testing by both Dunclyde and the client

• Cross platform testing (testing on multiple devices and browsers)

Final Review & Launch

• Website final review

• Final tweaks and amendments

• Website launch

Brand Design Handover

• Brand guidelines document handover

• Logo suite in multiple formats and color configurations

• Transfer of IP document after final payment

The project phases above outline the basics of our process. At several stages we may need approval on project elements, and we may need content and additional material. Any significant delays to receiving these is likely to push the delivery date.

This document outlines the terms under which we complete work for our clients. If you agree to proceeding with our proposal, these are the terms that the proposal is subject to.

Payment terms

This quote is valid for 30 days from the proposal date. A deposit of 50% of the complete invoice is required before the project commences, a further 30% is due upon approval of the design mock-ups and the final 20% is due on completion of the project. Ownership of any intellectual property created by Dunclyde will only be transferred to the client once payment has been received in full. Should the project be delayed by the client by 10 weeks, Dunclyde reserve the right to bill the full value of the project regardless of the state of completion.

Website Hosting

Our hosting packages come with support time built in. So you can always get in touch with us for help. Support can be broken into 15 minute chunks, so your time stretches even further.

The support time offered in the hosting packages includes text and image changes. From tweaking titles, to adding blog articles the support time covers all content changes. However the support time doesn't include technical site developments, like restructuring pages, altering CMS setups or other technical work.

Post Project Retainer Options

We love to work closely with our clients on an ongoing basis. The easiest way to do this for you, and for us, is to set up a retainer. This way you have hours you can use every month, without having to go through a lengthy proposal and approval process.

Unused hours can be rolled over by one month to give you the most flexibility in how you work.

A seperate full retainer agreement would be drawn up if you would like to engage us for ongoing work.
