We're looking for a highly motivated and ambitious sales and account manager to help us build our network in the US west coast.

$30,000 - $45,000 + commission

Introduction:

Dunclyde is a creative agency with roots in mighty Scotland, and seeds in sunny California! We specialize in strategy driven branding and website design (with Webflow). Day to day, we create brands and award-winning web experiences for a wide scope of ambitious clients.

We are a small, highly-ambitious team looking for a fellow self-starter to join us in our growth. The ideal person will be super positive, highly motivated, energetic and adaptable – and importantly, have an appreciation for great design!

You will be our first Los Angeles based employee and will be an integral part of the growth of Dunclyde as we quickly expand. It’s going to be a lot of hard work, but also a lot of fun too. You’ll work closely with us, but you will be responsible for getting on and running the sales operations in LA, helping us win exciting new projects.

Please note this is not a remote position. Your safety and wellbeing are our priority, so work-from-home will be in place until the COVID-19 risk has been reduced. When it is safe to do so, you will work from the Los Angeles office 3-5 days a week (although we are open to flexible working arrangements).

Job description:

As our key Sales & Account Manager in LA, you will have a deep understanding of our services, and our mission to help clients succeed through amazing design. With this, you will identify opportunities, generate leads and develop new customer relationships through networking and outreach (both traditionally and digitally). You will establish communications with leads and nurture them through to sale.

You will be responsible for three key functions:

  1. Research, identify, prospect and engage potential clients
  2. Sales
  3. After-sales customer relationship management

Your duties would include:

  • Actively maintaining a daily volume of sales activities involving outbound calls, emails and social engagement
  • Attending networking events (virtual and in-person)
  • Being active on LinkedIn
  • Communicating progress and leads with team members
  • Creating proposals using InDesign
  • Closing deals

Requirements:

  • Sales and account management experience
  • Design experience, interest or knowledge
  • Confident on the phone and with in-person meetings
  • Very keen eye for detail

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience in a creative agency
  • Knowledge of design and digital products
  • Experience with Hubspot and InDesign
